Hello all.

I suffered a massive stroke on Aug 4 2008, and only recently was
discharged home from a medical facility.

I have been totally out of the loop regarding the AS/400 (or whatever
we are calling it this week) and RPG. Can anyone summarize any major
changes in the past year, and/or direct me to a site/publication where
that may be found?

Thanks in advance,

Robert S. Lancaster

Booth,

You don't say much about the installation other than needing
a VPN. If you go external which is what I always do, you could look
in two different directions.

1.) PFSense with a Solkris box.. I do many of these with
VPN and VoIP NAT setups. It's a great open source project.

2.) I have also used the Cisco 871 boxes but be careful that
you get the feature packages, they change the options often.

Cisco also probably has an appropriate router.

I've set up straight-in log-in with tunneling but it was a long time
ago. At
the time I think it was over the dial-in.

But we got a Watchguard early on and used it to do the work.

You could just purchase a Watchguard Firewall or Sonicwall and do it
that way.

Cost is probably less than $1000.00.

We're looking for someone who knows how to set up VPN on a V4R3
machine
and can do it remotely?

How much would it cost to do?
