Booth's last paragraph has my interest also. Might it be possible that
the services company is slow paying you because the customer is slow
paying the services company? Yeah, a little talking with the services
company may be in order to help clear things up.

Credit being tight on businesses nowadays and everyone wanting to wait
until they get the cash from the other customer before they pay the vendor
reminds me of the time I closed on a house and the title agency had to
handle multiple closings that morning - all tied in a chain from New Home
owner to Seller 1 to Seller 2 to Seller 3 to ...
