May I add this? Sometimes a team gets fat, dumb and happy. Ford Motor is laying off 30,000 people and closing 10 plants. One of the reasons given is the abnormally high cost of an entrenched work force. Health care costs are becoming punitive unless a company has a young, never sick work force.

My last company laid of 9 programmers w/average tenure of 10 years, in favor of over seas folks...and we made $ last year. -----Original Message-----From: Booth Martin <booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: Consulting on the iSeries / AS400 <consult400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Fri, 20 Jan 2006 17:33:13 -0600 Subject: Re: [Consult400] HiWell said, John, but add this: Those three $25K programmers are energized.
