Recently my client signed a contract with an "off shore company" -
Alantic-Sierra for software support on both iseries and Oracle software.
Their prices were in the range of $29/hour for off shore people and $100+
for resident people.  I'm still there during the transition phase but expect
to be looking shortly.

I do high end tasks like LPAR configurations, system setups, migrations,
networking, security, tuning.
I charge about half what Global Services does.
