Can someone help me with information on third party contracts? I had a third party contract that said (somewhere in the fine print) that I would be paid after the contractor was paid. I was being paid monthly, two months after the work period. The contractor did not pay me for the last month, claiming that he had not been paid either. Do I have any legal recourse? They have something called a 'mechanic's lein' in the construction industry if a sub-contractor is not paid by the principal contractor. Can this apply to my case? Thank you in advance for your advice. A. Nirody __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
