Technical Requirements:

Experience with Vastera's Global Passport version 6.3 software.
Experience with Oracle 8.7 database on Windows 2000.
Knowledge of JDE World Software is helpful but not required.

We need a software developer familiar with Vastera architect tools and
Sun's Forte scripting language language.  Vastera is a large export
compliance
package, and Forte is the language in which it is written.

We are implementing Vastera as the export compliance portion of a large
order fullfillment system that uses the JDE Distribution module running on
an iSeries.  The tasks will be to finish some development work utiltizing
the
Vastera architect tools and Forte scripting, and to assist in the setup
required for the final user acceptance test.

There is no Java requirement for this position.  The  Vastera product
we are using is the older one called Global Passport and uses Forte.
The newer Vastera product is called Tradesphere and uses Java.  We
are using Global Passport, NOT Tradesphere.

For the right person, we will pay up to $85.00 per hour, all-inclusive
 - you pay for your own T&E.
