Jon: to tell you the truth, I am really not sure if the PTF will fix your problem or not. First of all, I have been told that this PTF did correct user who had similar problem symptom. Secondly, the APAR states that "...This change will only be made to the TCP/IP version of the Remote Command/Distributed Program Call server (program QZRCSRVS).", and since QZRCSRVS is where the fix is applied. So I think it is worth a try. Again, if IFS save is also screwed, then the PTF might not have solved the problem. BTW, you might want to check if the temp file in 'c:\wdsc\tmp', like Q00xxxxx.400 is empty or not.
