Thanks for the workaround.

However, isn't the verifier supposed to be 100% compatible with the
compiler?

Any IBMers left on the CODE list?

I've been bumping into this too.

What I found is you can code this in your source member:


     D/if defined(need_sql)
     D SQLCOD          S              9B 0
     D/endif

Then when you verify, prompt, select the compile tab and define the
condition name need_sql.

Works great.
