I don't know how to change the parser but you could change the attributes applied to errors. Click on 'Options' 'Profiles' 'Language Load' to open the file bas.lxl. Change the error attributes to something like blue/yellow. Save your modified version as bas.lxu. Now both profiles will be loaded when you open a .bas document.
