WDSC Version 5 RAM Recommendation

Greetings to all!

I would like to know what your recommendation is on how much RAM to have 
when using WDSC. I am finding that it is very slow on my machine. I have a 
1ghz P3 machine with 512MB ram. We were thinking about upgrading the RAM 
to 1GB but am not sure if that will be enough. 

Or, does the lagging of the application have anything to do with the 
memory I have on my machine?
