Hello Rob,
If I recall correctly:
Use Alt-L to highlight the first line of the block to adjust
Use Alt-L to highlight the last line of the block to adjust
Move the cursor to the column you want ON THE FIRST LINE and press Alt-A
The marked block will be shifted to the cursor position. You can use this for
indent and outdent effects. You can do similar things with Alt-B and Alt-A for
blocks rather than lines.
