Good News Everybody!

When you first open the CODE EDIT window, under Actions there is an item to "Enable Extras". Click on this, then open a source member. If you already have a member open, you need to close it and reopen it <RANT> - this is not nice </RANT>.

You should eventually see a menu item called Extras. In there is an item for CL GUI Prompting. Click on it, so it is checked - VOILA!

But it is slow. Verrrry slow.

I am trying to move my development from PDM to WDSc. After some
experimenting with the LPEX editor I decided to try CODE. It works great
for RPG coding but I am finding it very frustrating for CL.

My frustration stems from trying to prompt CL commands. When I press F4 I
receive the message 'You must have a STRCODE server running in an
interactive job to run the command. Please start a STRCODE server and try
again.' I have looked at the help text and gone through the Partner400
Quick Start Guide without any success. How can I start the server so I can
prompt CL commands? I would prefer to use the AutoConnect server.
