Ok Danny, Could you try to use Action>Debug>Running Application. You will have to specify the job where your application is to run and will need to invoke your application yourself. This could be submitted in batch... I just want to see if this will still have the same problem. I tried first just launching the RPG program from the menu Action>Debug>Non-Interactive Application. I got the AS400 Debugger logon screen- Next the Popup telling me Program Terminated Next I loaded the CL program and again Action>Debug>Non-Interactive Application When that loaded I clicked Programs>Add - The library name/program name- At this point if I go to my Greenscreen I see the message <Spawned (child) process 433782/QUSER/PB55511 is stopped. (G C) > < Reply . . .__________________________________________________ > <Waiting for reply to message on message queue DHAYES. > When the CL calls the JDE Dream Write Processing Program execution drops to ENDPGM in the CL without executing any lines in between.. I have tried other iterations with basically the same end result. If I execute this from STRISDB I experience none of the above.
