Hi Jeff, There are jobs on the iSeries that are capable of running multiple threads. This feature is mostly used by Java, however, if you call RPG code from your Java class via a JNI (Java Native Interface) call, you might need to deal with the fact that your job has multiple threads. In addition, languages like C and C++ can use threads as well. Since CODE debugger supports RPG, COBOL, Java, C, and C++, we provide an interface to support such multi-threaded application. Most RPG applications will have a single thread of execution and hence the actual term 'thread' can be happily ignored. I'm posting it here to find out if there is a correlating concept in the CODE debugger. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated! > Jeff Markel > _______________________________________________ This is the CODE/400 Discussion & Support (CODE400-L) mailing list To post a message email: CODE400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/code400-l or email: CODE400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/code400-l.
