Steve - we encountered this when running a class on a customer site. I'm
afraid the problem you have discovered is just one of a number caused by
some of the functions of CODE assuming that a blank terminates the file
name/directory. One (can't recall exactly what) caused CODE to die a
horrible death. Hak gave us a registry patch (which I can't for the life of
me find right now) it got us through the class - but since IBM couldn't tell
use for sure how many other functions were affected by this bug, the
decision was made to reinstall.

I've copied Hak on this note in the hope he will recall the Registry fix in
case you want to go that route.
