While I can appreciate my product being flamed as much as the next person : -), it might be more beneficial if you would indicate specific features that you would like see added to/modified in the product rather than some general unhappy statement. To make "official" requests for new function, please see the following web page (free registration required): https://www7b.software.ibm.com/wsdd/products/fred/fred.html As for setting tabs in free form, this is not the first time I have received this feedback. As you all know, CODE function is being integrated into eclipse over the next little while. All I can say, is that having heard this comment several times, this feedback was taken into consideration when porting the existing function over. And if you haven't heard, the 5.0 release (>4.0>V5R1M0 - lets PLEASE not get into this again :-) ) has been announced. Please read the details here: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/as400/products/ad/wdt400/v5/wdsc50fact.pdf thanks, Violaine Batthish CODE Project Lead batthish@ca.ibm.com IBMCA(BATTHISH) WDT/400 page: http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/wdt400 WDT/400 Support : http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/wdt400/support "Don Freeman" <DFreeman@norcalwas To: "CODE/400 Discussion & Support" <code400-l@midrange.com> te.com> cc: Sent by: Subject: RE: How to set tabs for free form mode code400-l-bounces@m idrange.com 01/28/2003 02:54 PM Please respond to CODE/400 Discussion & Support Even though it is true that CODE is a much improved editor over SEU, compared to most of the PC programming editors it's a joke. I use it because I've hated SEU since I first started using it on the S/38 but when I think of even the editor bundled with Borland's Turbo languages I have to laugh. That DOS based programming environment from over 10 years ago was still so much more advanced then CODE/400 is now. > -----Original Message----- > From: Joel Fritz [mailto:JFritz@sharperimage.com] > > Sticky cursor--preservation of indent level--is a feature > almost every PC > programmer's editor has had since the dawn of time.
