Might check to see if his user profile has been disabled. I have a lot
of problems with that an CODE when we have to mandatory change password.

Xuan,

I work for Mike, so I can answer this on his behalf. He has tried a lot
of
different ways to invoke the debugger, but this is how he first tried
running it. He is going through Code/400. He downloads the source from
the
AS/400 and clicks on the Debugger icon. It asks him which host server
he
wants to use. He clicks on OS400 (default used in STRCODE command) and
presses okay. He then sees the "call program" dialog box, which he
presses
enter. This starts up the debugger program, which prompts him for a
user id
and password. The text says something like log on to host server:
CLIPPER.
We have no idea where the debugger is getting that host name from. When
Mike enters in his user id and password, it displays an error message
stating that CLIPPER is not a valid host server. If he presses cancel,
he
exits the debugger program.

I am able to use the Debugger without any problems. I get this same log
on
prompt, but my text message says to log on to host server: 'lists our ip
address'. I've also loaded the debugger outside of code/400 and the log
on
message was using host server: AS400.

The Code/400 host name used when we added a new server was: AS400.
The host name used when we issue the STRCODE command from the AS/400 was
OS400.

Thanks,
Steve Cross

Mike,

How did you invoke debugger from Code? From CODE editor? Which Action
did
you choose?

What is your host name and what is the host name displayed in the Logon
dialog?

Thanks,

When I initiate the Debugger from Code 400 it ask me to log on my
debugger
host. The host name is not correct on the logon box and therefore I
cannot
log into the host. How do I change the host name on the logon box?
