Thanks for your inquiry, David. I should have clarified further. FAQ is short for "Frequently Asked Questions" and that is a selection on Midrange.com. Go to http://www.midrange.com then select "AS/400 Frequently Asked Questions" (or, go to http://faq.midrange.com). Then select Programming -> CODE/400 -> Code/400 ReXX Macros. Some tips and instructions for using user-defined macros are contained within the main CODE/400 link (before Code/400 ReXX Macros) called "How do I modify the Code/400 Editor behavior and use macros?". There are some useful macros at the Code/400 ReXX Macros. Select one you are interested in and you will see the macro there. They usually have specific instructions in the comments on use. Just select and drag the comments (/* */) and source to your own .lx file. Then, either modify profile.lx for global macros or language specific .lxu files to associate function keys or menu options with the new macros. If you cannot see any of the links mentioned within the FAQ for some strange reason, you might try changing the appearance (selection at bottom of FAQ). I hope some of these macros help you and save you time.
