Since you mentioned Windows 98, do you have Norton Anti-Virus installed? If
you do, please disable that.

It seems that this message is always there. So far, I have not taken any
hard look into it to
see where it is actually coming from. Probably, this is logged during
Communications startup for a NULL
translation function call.
