My experience has been that as long as I use the squiggle (~) syntax that everything works fine, whether it's installing it to D:\progra~1\ibm\wdts400 instead of D:\wdts400 or setting up the code projects where the local directory is in My Documents (d:\docume~1\phil\mydocu~1\source).
