Among the many reasons we are migrating to an eclipse-based IDE is to make the team sharing of this type of data much easier, using the inherited team support in eclipse. With WDSC, there is no more registry use! Granted the team support is still a little baren in this first 4.0 release, but it is effective team support for all such things (compile options, user actions, filters, etc) that we are deeply focused on.
