Hi Craig,

What you describe is a bug not a design change :-)  I have opened an APAR
SE07577 to track the problem, so there is no need to get a design change
request.
As for the Smart Guides in LPEX, all I can say is that there are plans, but
I can't say when they will get in :-)

"Actions -> SmartGuides -> Create procedure" is limited to 9999 character
parms and return value.  Whether a parm or return value and selecting
"character" or "character varying", comment says "1-32767" for length but
will not allow any character length over 9999.  I wanted a string parm to
have the maximum of 32767A.  I can enter 32767 but the code generated only
shows 3276.  Same for any other length over 9999.  The 5th digit is always
dropped.  I tried to fool it and enter 200000 hoping it would somehow
generate 20000 but it generated 3276.  I think that is good logic to show
the maximum of 32767 if entering a value over 32767 but show 32767, not
3276.  I changed it in my code manually but please fix the Create procedure
SmarGuide to allow character lengths over 9999.  I was hoping this would
not require a Design Change Request form but if I need to fill one out,
please let me know.  Any plans to get those SmartGuides in the LPEX editor?
