Hi Vern, Here's some info I gleaned from my team's CVC expert: The main website for CVS is http://www.cvshome.org. There is a lot of information on this site. To run CVS on a Win2K box, you need to obtain it from this website - http://www.cvsnt.org. There is also a very good book that explains CVS terminology and how to setup a CVS repository, and it is at http://cvsbook.red-bean.com/cvsbook.html. All of this explains CVS completely independent of the RSE. To obtain version control for source members, you need to use iSeries Projects, and import those members into a project. You can then checkin this project to a CVS repository. Information about CVS usage within WDSC should in the help under topic Development Studio Client->The workbench->Team tutorial. I hope this helps! I have a Win2K box I can use as server, and does it handle native source code effectively? Thanks Vern.
