Do you want to close the session without waiting?" When I answer Yes, Code closes with no apparent problem until I try to shutdown my PC at the end of the day and get an error that a process is still running. The actual window says 'Command Shell' at the top and then "You must quit this program before you quit Windows. Click OK to quit this program and Windows or click cancel to continue running this program and Windows." Soon an End Task Window also appears giving the options to Wait 20 seconds or End Task or Cancel. Any other ideas? Thanks again, Dave Boettcher -----Original Message----- From: Violaine Batthish [mailto:batthish@ca.ibm.com] You don't mention what operating system you are running and whether or not you are running an Anti-Virus tool. I have heard of a similar problem a couple of years ago where the version of McAffee Anti-Virus was out of date. Upgrading McAffee seemed to fix the problem. You might also want to try selecting the menu option: Options->Quiet Exit when you are in Command Shell and see if that improves things. Hope this helps!
