I'm sorry such a decision was made.  I for one don't like
to have 500 icons on my desktop.  Every program seems to
put one (or two or three, or ...) there that I have to
organize, move, and/or delete.  I would suggest that a
shortcut be put on the menu to the "CODE Projects" folder
in the tools menu.  This would help your customers not lose
the fact that they have this great tool.

BTW: I said it at COMMON, and I will say it again;  I
really, _really_, REALLY appriciate you and the developemnt
team participating in this discussion list, and the news
groups.  Your help, tips, and quick responses to questions
is outstanding! You have reduced _my_ frustration level as
I learn (and teach) and find random features in your
product.  Keep up the _great_ work.
