work without opening up all the ports.  Don't know why but since I use the
auto connect serer most times anyway it is not too much of a problem.

Just define NETSHARE in your CODE communications properties and it will all
work just fine.

PS. I find it works better with an entry in the hosts file rather than feed
the IP into comms properties.
