I have a tight loop, where I'm reading from a PC ODBC file and loading into an AS/400 DB2 file. For each record I update an editbox on the window like this: C Eval %setatr('Win01': 'ENTSEASON': 'Text') C 'On Record: ' + %Char(RecordNumber) + C ' Bad: ' + %Char(BadNumber) The edit box gets updated, but, the rest of the window never gets repainted. That is, if I bring another window to the front, and then click on the task bar this VARPG program window never gets shown. If I minimize all windows on top of it, the window is shown but all grayed out (none of the controls are re-painted) and the edit box shows the changing values. How do I get this program to behave more like a "normal" windows program? I remember in Delphi I would do an Application.ProcessMessages() In C I would do an invalidate_rect(hwnd, xleft, ytop, xright, ybottom, false); where x and y were window rectangles.
