I tried doing a Check PTF after deleting the files in C:\winnt\ibmcom, and
it still hangs.  Attached is the joblog....

Now, could you send to my email address the job log on your AS/400 host
after CheckPTF hung?
Use 'WRKOBJLCK OBJ(sign-on id) OBJTYPE(*USRPRF)' to get the job log
'QZRCSRVS     QUSER'.

Have you tried with  all  files deleted from  c:\winnt\ibmcom?
