-- -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I install the application to my C: drive. Then move all the sub-folder files into the main file, copy the runtime files and sub-folder files to the folder, test it to see everything runs, and then copy the whole folder to a server the users can reach, create a shortcut there, and distribute the shortcut via e-mail with instructions to drag the shortcut to their desktop. It is not elegant. It doesn't follow the rules. It works, its fast, and whenever I change the piece on the server, its all done. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@MartinVT.com --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: code400-l@midrange.com Date: Thursday, March 07, 2002 13:06:27 To: code400-l@midrange.com Subject: VARPG - Deployment What is the best way to deploy an application and runtime to 500+ users without having to visit each workstation. _______________________________________________ -- [ Content of type image/gif deleted ] --
