Never mind. I found the latest service pack and loaded it and now it makes
it past that point. To find the service pack go to this page.

Subject: Communications Daemon Problem

Hi,

I just installed CODE/400 for the second time in two days and I still cannot
get it to work. Here is the scenario.

- Did custom install from WDT/400 5 disc pack because I only wanted
CODE/400.
- Install completed successfully both times.
- Used the 'Host and Server Configuration Wizard' to create a server, this
completed successfully.
- I then go into CODE/400 editor and try to Open the connection I created.
When I double click on it, it gives me a sign-on. I enter my correct
sign-on info. It then starts processing again, but it then comes up with
this Windows error:

<Window>
Communication Daemon: evfctcpd.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x01006c98" referenced memory at "0x20330bf4". The
memory could not be "written".
</Window>

Anybody encounter this ever?

TIA,
Aaron Bartell
