This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] For the third time in the last four days, responding to a CODE/400 (V5R1 SP4) error has caused my Win2K (SP2) to reboot. It’s not power; I’m on a UPS and nothing else flickered. I had four members open, changed one, and sent it for interactive compile. Then the “Programming error” box (nothing else in it) popped up, I entered, tried to save the member, and all went dark. Other applications open at the time: Outlook, CAX, Spinner.com, and NewsRover. Various other stuff is running, including Norton 2002, RPGAlive (a fine product), ZoneAlarm, and the normal Microsoft crap. My system runs Norton SpeedDisk every night (as it has for the last two years). CODE/400 did not recover the changed member. Silly me, thinking Win2K had any starch in its shorts… Thanks, Reeve --
