Your are right that this was a feature in OS/2 that never made it into the
Windows version.
I am going to log your feedback so that it influences our prioritization
of future enhancements to the tool.

In the iterim you might be able to use RLU's prototype function.

I have wished for this particular feature for a long time.  I had it when
we
started with Code/400 back on an OS2 box and I really miss it.  Doing the
ALT + Print Screen only gives you what is displayed in the window, which
is
most likely not the whole report.

Also, it would be nice to be able to print the layout for both display
files
and printer files.  Is there any possibility of this being added to the
designer?

No I haven't I was just curious to know if there was a way in CODE

Have You tried to display the report and create a screen Shot
on Windows ALT-->PRINT SCREEN then open Paint Brush
and paste (or Word then Paste)
