If the source type on AS/400 is not specified, then *BLANK will be assumed
on your CPO properties when you get it from host.
On AS/400, do a 'WRKMBRPDM library/file' and you will see what the 'Type'
is set to.

A continuation of the Phantom O & Phantom 4 saga . . .

We've found out that a *BLANK type is what causes the insertion of a 4 or a
0 in the text field when putting to host. But what causes the type to
become *BLANK?

I've noticed that when I edit a source file on my PC via CPO, then save it,
the type sometimes becomes *BLANK during the save. Any idea what causes
it?

Phil

PS: O. 4. Blank. Hmm. x'40' ?
