Jim:
first of all, a stupid question from me. Has it been working before
switching to VPN?

Any problem with auto-start ( not using STRCODE )?

What are the settings in the local 'STRCODE settings'? The default port is
'4200'.

We are building a VPN between our HQ and a remote network using a Cisco PIX
520 at HQ and a Cisco PIX 501 at the remote site. So far, everything except
CODE/400 seems to be working fine.

We are able to ping in both directions but when we run the STRCODE command,
we get "EVF4000 - A TCP/IP communications error occurred. A remote host
refused an attempted connect operation. The name of the error is ERR_TCPIP
(3425). The name of the function is ipClientConnect-connect." We get the
same error on STRCODE both when we specify RMTLOCNAME(*RESOLVE) and when we
enter the machine's IP address and *TCPIP. We have also tried using the
remote site's static public IP address, to no avail.

Any Ideas? I'm stumped
