I would like to clarify this. The issue in this subject discussion is that F3 on the last editor window causes the editor to close without saving preferences changed. This is the problem which I will investigate. However, for all normal editor shutdown with File->Exit, all settings and preferences, including size, position, etc. should be saved and working. 'Quiet exit' is just to get rid of the annoying message. It just doesn't save the session size. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." This is after I've shut down all windows but the command shell. However I always get: EVF9452W - This session may contain an active program. Do you want to close the session without saving your data? So what's the point?
