I have always used 'set window max' in my profile.lx to always maximize my window but I have not been following this thread closely. I also marked the Quiet Exit option in the Command Shell under Options. I didn't know that was for getting rid of that annoying message about exiting with active data. It always positions the window in the bottom left corner of the screen...
