This gets better...

Yesterday I did a fresh install on a PC with Win2K Pro SP2..nothing else. I
installed the SDK, and let it be the default JRE. Installed VAJ, then WDT
from the DVD. It still said I needed the SDK, and it still bombed at the
exact same spot. When I went to Add/Remove Programs and 'added' Studio, it
installed the SDK again, and was kind enough to point out that the directory
was already there...

Should I do something special when installing the SDK independently? For
some reason the WDT Install did not see it...

Any ideas?

Just in case you are wondering which CD the SDK is on, since I said CD1 and
Hak said CD4.
The answer is, it is on both. Just to avoid CD swapping during install.
