This gets better... Yesterday I did a fresh install on a PC with Win2K Pro SP2..nothing else. I installed the SDK, and let it be the default JRE. Installed VAJ, then WDT from the DVD. It still said I needed the SDK, and it still bombed at the exact same spot. When I went to Add/Remove Programs and 'added' Studio, it installed the SDK again, and was kind enough to point out that the directory was already there... Should I do something special when installing the SDK independently? For some reason the WDT Install did not see it... Any ideas? -----Original Message----- From: weiss@ca.ibm.com [mailto:weiss@ca.ibm.com] Sent: Friday, January 25, 2002 12:15 PM To: code400-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: V5R1 Install Failures Just in case you are wondering which CD the SDK is on, since I said CD1 and Hak said CD4. The answer is, it is on both. Just to avoid CD swapping during install.
