Does this give you what you want??

Bring up Find and Replace dialog
Click on Options...
Uncheck "Cancel after find" if checked
Click OK
Fill in Find field
Fill in Replace with field
Click on Find
If you want to replace what is found click on Replace
else just click on Find again

This allows you to Find and/or Replace as needed.
