The SIGNATUR curline option is not very useful I agree but it was already there. But, hitting enter and having the signature placed in cols 1-5 automatically could be useful to those entering code. Also, you can just hit ESC to go down to the command line. You don't have to type MACRO, just the name of the macro will do. What is the QUICK & EASY way to invoke commands like this? Which also reminds me of a related issue - how does one quickly invoke a macro without having to go down to the bottom and tying MACRO and then the name of the macro. There must be a better way that I just have not discoverd yet. David, I'm not sure what language you use code for, but perhaps this will be useful for you. In the next service pack, the SIGNATUR macro has been fixed so that it will add a signature in cols 1-5 of RPG programs when new lines are entered. In command line: 'EXTRAS ON' first. Putting 'SIGNATUR enable' in the command line should TOGGLE signature enabled. Putting 'SIGNATUR curline' in the command line will put the signature on the current line regardless of whether or not signature is enabled. Putting 'SIGNATUR' in the command line will prompt for a signature but does not TOGGLE signature enabled. In the next release, this will be menu enabled and hopefully we'll be able to put the signature on changed lines as well (not just new ones) which is probably more useful especially for users who are fixing code rather than writing new code.
