I've found Designer to be much more stable when I'm editing source on the as/400 rather than on the PC. Here's what's different: When I'm editing source on the as/400: * I'm in the same building as the as/400 so connectivity isn't an issue. * I always have a STRCODE session running * Launch via an as/400 cmdline call * NT4 SP4, V4R5M0 SP2 Otherwise: * no strcode session usually * Launch via CPO. * W2K SP2, V5R1M0 SP3 Does this make sense or did I just have a lucky week?
