Phil, Usually when debugger finishes one debug session, it will end servicing the debuggee job. I guess in this case, things did not end well for your previous debug session. You could try to end the your pre-started debugger server job, Q5BWHSRV in subsystem QSYSWRK. When it end, it should end servicing your job.
