Something about size limitations on the variable names. I believe it's something IBM has to address, right guys? Chris -----Original Message----- From: MWalter@hanoverwire.com [mailto:MWalter@hanoverwire.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 8:16 AM To: code400-l@midrange.com Subject: CL prompting problems Hello all, With Chris's help, I got CL Prompting working yesterday. Now I have an issue with some funny error messages. Whenever I prompt this command: crtprtf file(&PRLIB/&PRFILE) srcfile(&PRLIB/QDDSSRC) + dev(&PRDEVN) pagesize(&PRFSZL &PRFSZW) + lpi(&PRLPI) cpi(&PRCPI) ovrflw(&PROVRF) it tells me that the ovrflw(&provrf) is more than 6 characters. As far as I know, this is bogus. I've uesd this cl for some time now and have no problems. Could the problem be that I am on V5R1 of code and V4R5 of OS/400?
