copy/paste & sequence numbers

All,

Is there a way to copy/paste source into a text file that includes the line
numbers?  The purpose of this is for documentation.  I don't want the date
included.  The only way I've found so far is to uncheck the "source has
sequence numbers" box and then use alt-r to block the date column and delete
it.  But that's a pain which means I'm using seu to copy/paste.
