[ Converted text/html to text/plain ] If I try to invoke the code editor from the AS/400 without having started a STRCODE session I get a pop-up error message (that hides behind all other windows). It is titled "EVF2028 RC=257" and contains the message "File system error LENNONS/QRPGLESRC(ERB800R)" Not exactly an intuitive error message. If I cancel that I see another window asking me to provide a password. I assume this is for the TCP/IP server. I cancel that because I find STRCODE more stable. I then start a STRCODE session, but no matter what I do, I still get the EVF2028 error (which continues to hide behind all other windows.) I have to shut down the STRCODE server, then C:\WDT400\codeedit.exe /CM EXIT, then stop and start the communication daemon, then start a STRCODE session, then I'm back to normal. This is with V5R1, SP2 installed. I wish the communications were a little more error resistant with better recovery.
