RE: OS V4R5 and WDTS V5R1

One thing to keep in mind is if you run V5R1 on the PC - when you verify an
RPG it will verify using acceptable the V5R1 syntax, etc.  In other words,
if you accidentally use an OS V5R1 RPG %BIF or something it might verify ok
but the compile will fail if the AS400 is on V4R5.

I have a customer who upgraded to V4R5 and got WDTS V5R1 for the client.  We
got all of the licenses for all the compilers but product still uses
5769-RG1, etc for the licpgm code rather than 5722-WDS.  I have QCODE on the
as/400.

My questions are these:

1.  Will the version of WDTS I got work with V4R5 or do I need to do
something extra?  I found an FAQ that said I needed to download a save file
containing QDEVTOOLS.  If this is true, will it restore to V4R5 machine?  Is
it necessary for all features to work or only for some features?  If so,
what are those features?

2.  I already have WDTS V4.5 installed.  Is there any reason to upgrade if
OS/400 is at V4R5?

3.  How do I upgrade?  Or do I have to uninstall and reinstall?

I've looked around for instructions but haven't found much outside of the
FAQ about QDEVTOOLS.  Thanks very much for your help.
