Hi Jim,

I will add your list of suggestions to the ones we already have for CODE
Project Organizer.

As for data members, you should be able to add a member filter for data
members, BUT you need to specify the source file explicitely.
In other words, if you use a generic filter such as
<>LIB/*(*) or <>LIB/A*(*)
you will only get source file members listed.
But, if you specify
<>LIB/FILE(*)
You should be able to get a member list for the specified file.

Hope this helps!

Hello all;

In PDM I am able to drill down from library to object to member. Option 12
on a library entry in WRKLIBPDM will get me a list of objects. Like wise a
12 on a file (both Source physical and Data Physical) will get me a list of
members. What I would like to see is a drag drop capability in Code
Project to create a filter. If I drag a library entry to the filter pane
create an object filter of all for that library. If I drag a file object
entry to the filter pane, create a member (or a field) filter for that
file.

By the way, can you create a member filter for a mulit-member Data Physical
file? I thought I had tried it in the past, and all I got were the field
definitions. Sometimes I want to work with the members to copy, edit, etc.

Another request is to be able to drag and drop copy for libraries, objects,
& members. If I drag a file from one instance of the project to another, I
should be able to copy the file from one library to another. Same with
objects and libraries. This might be great even between AS/400-iSeries
computers. (I know that I am dreaming but - what the heck - might as well
dream big!)
