I have experience. When you have a lockup or a nasty communications problem, try these steps: 1. Right-click on the communications daemon icon and close it. 2. Run C:\wdt400 codeedit.exe /CM EXIT (note: /CM EXIT must be capitalized). 3. Ctrl-Alt-Del, go to "Processes" and kill EVFCTCPD.exe and any other EVF-type programs (.40 caliber low-velocity jacketed hollow points are about right). 4. Go to your WDT/400 communications console, click on your server, click OK (this solves the "Server not known" problem). 5. WRKOBJLCK {source-file-name} *FILE {member-you-were-working-on} to see if it's locked by QZRCSRVS; if so, use option 5|41|*IMMED to cancel the lock. If you're having problems with lockups/communications problems, I suggest you go to Options|Autosave, change the values (so your work is frequently and quickly backed up to your C:\WDT400\TMP directory), and check "Save settings". My settings are at 2 minutes and 10 changes (I hate rework, especially when you spend several minutes creating a complex expression in your CALLP list). Hope this helps! Regards, Reeve
