INDENT question -- CODE400-L

Why doesn't indent not work correctly with this?

 C                   |  |  MOVE      *ON           *IN14  
 C                   |  ENDIF
 C                   |  ENDDO

as you can see, the INDENT puts the ENDDO at the wrong place.
