I have the same problem with my recently-used files list. I am using V4R5. I changed my profile.lx to set the window size as well, so that it would always open up maximized, using the command: set windowpos 2 55 1021 715 Jeff Morrill "Reeve Fritchman" <reeve@ltl400.com> To: <CODE400-L@midrange.com> Sent by: cc: owner-code400-l@mi Subject: RE: Code Editor does not retain state between boots drange.com 08/05/01 10:27 AM Please respond to CODE400-L I lied. I just ran two tests: called up a bunch of members, made a change, saved them, closed CODE/400 properly, shut down and rebooted. My recently-used member list reverted to the pre-test version; none of the members I updated are on the list. There is definitely something wrong... -----Original Message----- From: owner-code400-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-code400-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Jim Essinger Sent: Friday, August 03, 2001 12:31 PM To: CODE400-L@midrange.com Subject: Code Editor does not retain state between boots Greetings! My problem: When starting up the Code Editor the first time in the day, I have to set quiet exit on the command shell, and resize the window to where I want it (it starts out a very small window.) There after, until I reboot, Code Editor will remember the size and placement of the window, and will also remember to use "quiet exit" on the command shell. After I reboot, I have to reset the size and options. Is there something I can do to fix this problem? I did not have this problem on the previous version. My configuration; Win 2000 Pro with Service pack 2 installed, V5R1M0 version of WebSphere Development tools with the second fix pack installed, AS/400 (not iSeries yet!) 720 with V4R5M0 installed. Cumulative PTF Package 01100 applied. IBM A21p Thinkpad w/ 256Meg ram. IBM Extras are enabled, with no modifications. Highlight extra is turned on.
