Are you running v5r1 on the workstation or the host? I believe Violaine was talking about the host side. -----Original Message----- From: rob@dekko.com [mailto:rob@dekko.com] Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2001 10:51 AM To: CODE400-L@midrange.com Subject: RE: Code/400 and user defined options I am running V5R1 and I do not see these new options. 1) Why not? 2) How do I create them? However, there were some other changes that were supposed to make thinks easier.... Instead of using the program EVFCFDBK, you can now just use the command STRCODECMD (which will issue a command on your PC, using the STRCODE user space). Also, there are new PDM options: CB - for CODE Browse CE - for CODE Edit DC - for CODE Design which use the STRCODECMD action. (I did find that there was a slight problem with the options: an &M - instead of &N - was used and I had to manually change the option before using it.) Also worthy of mentioning is that you can now use *RESOLVE in the RMTLOCNAME parameter of CODE (very useful for those DHCP users). I had my PDM session setup with user defined options for codeedit, browse, but now that I've upgraded to V5.1, they don't seem to work. Here's what they look like: CALL QCODE/EVFCFDBK PARM('37' 'Y' 'S30' '<OS400A> CODEBRWS "<>&L/&F (&N)"') call qcode/evfcfdbk parm('37' 'Y' 'OS400A' '<> CODEEDIT "<OS400A> &L/&F(&N)"') What is wrong with them? The command shell is of no use whatsoever. Thanks for the help!
